Getting started with PLINQO is an easy three step process.

Step 1: Download CodeSmith¶

Download and install the latest version of CodeSmith Professional.

NOTE: PLINQO requires the latest version of CodeSmith Professional.

If you have not previously registered with CodeSmith or currently own a license of CodeSmith, you will be required to register on the CodeSmith Tools website to get a trial key before using CodeSmith.

Step 2: Find PLINQO¶

1. Open CodeSmith Explorer
2. Navigate to Frameworks\PLINQO in the CodeSmith 5.1 Samples Folder shortcut.

Step 3: Run quickstart¶

1. Double click the quickstart.cst template
2. Select a database
3. Click generate

Clicking generate will automatically open visual studio so that you can quickly get started using PLINQO.
