The Template tab of the Template window is the editing surface of CodeSmith Studio. You can navigate to the Template tab of the current template by selecting Code from the View menu or by pressing F7.
The CodeSmith Studio Editor includes a wide variety of features to make editing code easier and more productive. These include:

This feature is only available in the Professional Edition of CodeSmith.
