The CodeSmith Studio user interface includes a number of separate elements, each with its own purpose.

The View menu includes commands to display or hide most of these user interface elements. The Schema Explorer, Template Explorer, Properties Window, and Output Window can be docked to any side of the main CodeSmith Studio window or floating. Docked windows can be set to auto-hide (the Schema Explorer window in the above screenshot is an auto-hide window). When you hover the mouse over an auto-hide window, it "slides out" to become fully visible, covering other user interface elements. Multiple floating windows can be docked to one another.

This feature is only available in the Professional Edition of CodeSmith.
